More Details for the Passport to Israel Walkathon
Students and parents, you can go here to register at active.com for the event and have your very own fundraising page (you can even upload a picture!). There is a $10 fee to cover registration costs, some of which goes towards the fundraiser. Anyone can go here to donate directly to this campaign without having to go through a student page. And a big "Thank You!" goes out to the Berkeley Jewish community for helping to host some of the pitstops along the walk.
Finally, there will be prizes awarded for the top three fundraisers over $300: 1st place $75, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25 (in the form of VISA gift cards).

Walkathon Personal Webpage Modification Tips!
Once you've registered for the Walkathon, there are a couple things you can do to modify what is seen on your personal fundraising webpage. For starters, go to www.active.com/donations and log in (if you haven't already). That will take you to "MyActive Giving HQ" where you can make a million modifications to your page--layout, uploaded pic, color theme, extra text, personal fundraising goals, and so on.
Change the address name--the most commonly requested modification is changing the personal webpage address to read something other than "active.com/donate/tehiyahisraeltrip/jdefauw". Yeah, the "jdefauw" is kind of lame. So I changed my page to www.active.com/donate/tehiyahtrips2010/MrD. You can do this by clicking "Customize My Webpage" at the top and typing in the new name where it says "Create your web address:".
